Item Details

  • HOBART® FabCO® TR-70 Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 5/64" Dia produces high-quality welds while increasing productivity, more parts per hour. Rutile-type, flux-cored wire suitable for flat and horizontal welding provides low fume generation rates and stable arc with long stick-outs. It operates extremely well within a wide range of amperage settings and offers easy gap filling. It offers cleaner environment, thus enhancing welder appeal. Wire with easy slag removal helps to reduce clean-up time making it ideal for deep groove applications. It features flat bead profile with fillet welds and withstands weld cracking on heavy plate as well as restrained joints. Wire with low smoke and low spatter makes it perfect for light to heavy gauge mild steel and low alloy steels. Its deep-penetration, low hydrogen weld deposit resists rust, mill scale and light oil. Wire will have 84000 psi tensile strength, 77000 yield strength and 26% elongation in 2" when welded using 100% CO2. It is associated with E70T-1C H8/9C H8 class of wires and is used in single or multiple pass applications with CO2 shielding gas. Wire comes in a coil of 60 lb and is used in earthmoving equipment, mining machinery, plate fabrication, railroad cars, shipbuilding as well as structural industries. This wire has to be stored in a dry, enclosed environment and in its original intact packaging.
