HOBART® FabCO® TR-70 Gas Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire of 3/32" Dia has low smoke, spatter and excellent operator appeal for mild and some low alloy steels. Rutile-type, flux-cored wire suitable for flat and horizontal welding positions provides very light spatter and particulate low fume generation rate with high-quality welds. Wire offers a deep-penetrating, low-hydrogen weld deposit that is tolerant to rust, mill scale as well as light oil and features a stable arc with long stick-outs for easy gap filling. Wire with flexible amperage/voltage range resists weld cracking on heavy plate. Wire enhances welder appeal, promotes versatility, allows easy slag removal and helps minimizes clean-up time. It is ideal for deep groove applications and features flat bead profile with multi-pass fillet welds. Wire has minimum 70000 - 95000 psi tensile strength, 58000 psi yield strength and 22% elongation in 2". Its low-smoke properties make it perfect for light to heavy gauge mild steel and low alloy steels. It is associated with E70T-1C H8/9C H8 class of wires, used in single or multiple pass applications and operates with 100% CO2 shielding gas. Wire comes in a coil of 60 lb and is used in earthmoving equipment, mining machinery, plate fabrication, railroad cars, shipbuilding and structural.
