- HOBART® Fabshield® 7027 Self Shielded Flux Core Carbon Steel Tubular Welding Wire with 7/64" Dia comes on a 50 lb coil and features low spatter and easy slag removal for carbon steels. It finds applications in heavy machinery, large construction components and barge building. It is ideal for single or multiple pass applications without the need of shielding gas, structural steel fabrications and other applications. It features better performs at high amperages and renders higher deposition as well as side wall fusion voltages. It reduces slag interference problems and fast-freezing slag. It minimizes clean-up and encourages operator appeal. High-deposition wire features reduced spatter levels and easier slag removal. It is designed for welding in the flat and horizontal positions. It features tensile strength of 91000 psi and yield strength of 64000 psi.
