The ITW/Miller 195216 is an OEM polycarbonate adapter kit designed to convert compact MIG welders from 4-inch (2 lb) spool capacity to 8-inch (10-12 lb) wire spools. The assembly consists of a hub and a retaining nut that mounts directly into the existing spool mount area to provide stable rotation and consistent wire feeding for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and flux-cored wires.
Features
OEM genuine replacement part
Converts small-spindle systems to accommodate larger spools
Drop-in installation requires no chassis modification
Secures heavier spools with a dedicated retaining nut
Reduces wire drive motor strain by providing smooth rotation
Prevents spool wobble and inconsistent tension
Eliminates wire feeding anomalies like burn-back or bird-nesting
Increases arc-on time by 5x compared to 2 lb spools
