The Miller 227449 is an industrial-grade protective cable jacket designed specifically for the power pin section of MIG welding guns. It functions as an external armored sheath that provides thermal isolation, mechanical strain relief, and environmental resistance to the connection point where the MIG gun assembly mates with a wire feeder interface. This jacket isolates the delivery pathway for electrical current, shielding gas, and internal wire liners, preventing case grounding, short circuits, and ambient gas leakage.
