The ITW Miller / Weldcraft VS-1 is a heavy-duty, precision-engineered manual gas valve knob and stem assembly designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW / TIG) torches. It provides mechanical point-of-use gas flow control for systems operating without an internal power-source gas solenoid. The assembly is a field-installable sub-component comprising a large ribbed thermoplastic control knob, a precision-machined metal alloy threaded valve stem with micro-tapered seating, and a high-temperature elastomeric O-ring seal.
