The Tillman® TIL8004 series gold tinted replacement window for welding hood. Heat Reflective hood window provides protection and comfort in high radiant heat environments. The polycarbonate window is heat resistant, maintaining its form and strength in temperatures up to 212 ºF. The tinted gold heat reflective window, made with 24K gold (microns thick layer) and a silicote scratch resistant coating, filters and protects against harmful infrared light, and ultraviolet light, protecting the user. The mirrored window surface allows for excellent visibility, while providing enhanced protection from harmful energy. It results in a cooler feeling environment for the worker and reduced neck strain. Replacement window is attached to head piece, all of which fits into aluminized hood, with a Velcro enclosure to keep the window in place. The entire piece measures 8" x 14", window is .105" thick. Viewable window size, inside hood, is 7" x 11". One size only.
