Item Details
Tie Down’s Step-N-Safe Extension Ladder Walk-Thru Gate attachment option is designed to be the most affordable solution for adding a swing gate to the job site. The gate attaches easily to the Step-N-Safe Extension Ladder Walk-Thru and includes all required hardware, needing no tools or pins for installation. This multi-purpose aluminum safety gate is fully self-closing and meets OSHA compliance for rooftop safety. The Step-N-Safe Extension Ladder Walk-Thru itself is designed to fit most ladder profiles in the market and is fully compatible with ladders from Type II to Special Duty Type IIA. The Step-N-Safe Pro version features a dual clamping safety lock system that improves stability when accessing the Walk-Thru handrails, and its 36-inch height allows for proper ladder elevation above the walking surface. A broad base with non-skid rubber padding increases the contact area when transitioning to elevated walking surfaces and helps protect gutters and other surfaces from damage. Together, these features provide an affordable safety solution, universal ladder compatibility, enhanced stability, proper elevation support, and reliable self-closing performance while ensuring full OSHA compliance under standards 1910 and 1926.
