The RKI 04 Series is a compact, durable single-gas monitor designed for long-term personal safety in industrial environments. Weighing just 2.8 ounces and measuring 2.1" x 2.6" x 0.9", it offers continuous operation for up to 9,000 hours on two AAA alkaline batteries, depending on the model. The series includes models for detecting gases such as CO, Hö¢-š-šS, Oö¢-š-š, NHö¢-šÆ’, Clö¢-š-š, HCN, NOö¢-š-š, PHö¢-šÆ’, and SOö¢-š-š, with options for CO sensors that eliminate hydrogen interference and dual CO/Oö¢-š-š sensors. Features include user-adjustable visual, audible, and vibration alarms IP-67-rated impact, dust, and water resistance and intrinsic safety certifications for hazardous locations. Field-replaceable sensors are compatible with other RKI instruments like the GX-3R and GasWatch 3, and come with a three-year warranty (one year for ammonia and chlorine sensors) .
