ER4643 Aluminum TIG Welding Rod comes in a 10 lb box and renders magnificent corrosion resistance in the weld zone as well as heat affected regions. Welding rod is a perfect choice for brazing type applications on thin sections where dilution ratios are low. Welding rod has same weld cracking characteristics flow pre-cleaning weldability and machine settings as of 4043 alloy . Welding rod is ideally used for welding heavy sections of certain aluminum alloys when multiple weld passes are required and dilution of the base metal into the puddle is negligible.
