SelectWear 420-S Plus is a flux shielded submerged arc hardsurfacing wire that is designed for surfacing with the submerged arc process. It has higher carbon and chromium compared with standard 420-S for added wear resistance. It can be used on the lower segments of continous casters as well as other roll applications. Neutral flux should be used.
